Kabetogama Comprehensive Plan
Kabetogama Township was recently organized in 2001. The Township is now ready to grow and develop. Kabetogama is developing a plan to guide their community for the next several years. Kabetogama Township is in the process of developing a comprehensive plan that will set guidelines and address many issues.
Developing a comprehensive plan is a process that involves all facets of the community. The township followed several steps resulting in planning and zoning guidelines to direct them in the future. Through several meetings with the Planning Commission, Town Board, and public meetings, Kabetogama Township will adopt a comprehensive plan. ARDC did a background development, by exploring township committees and possible grant opportunities. The comprehensive plan focuses on regulating land use, among other issues, like transportation, wastewater, and recreation. After the public meeting was held ARDC will used the input to develop a draft plan. Through much revision and recommendation development with input from the Planning Commission, ARDC will hold a public meeting to present the final draft to the residents, followed by a public hearing to accept the plan.
