Gateway Corridor Design Priority Project Five
Priority Project 5 (if necessary): Southern Wayside Rest
The Task Force only wishes to pursue this recommendation if a wayside in the more central part of International Falls does not come to fruition. The rest area designed for the south end of the Gateway Corridor is estimated to cost $500,000. The costs are for site work, stormwater retention, sidewalks, parking, lighting, vault toilets, site furnishings, landscaping and design. Steps for implementing this project can be defined at a later date if needed.
