| Regional Transportation Advisory Committee
|
The Regional Transportation Advisory Committee (RTAC) is a forum for transportation officials and elected officials from the Arrowhead Region to discuss regional transportation issues and set regional priorities. The Arrowhead Regional Development Commission staffs the RTAC. In addition to being a regional forum, the RTAC advises ARDC on its transportation planning projects and helps to prioritize applications to the RTAC In-Kind Transportation Planning Grant for funding. | In-kind Grant Program
|
| Each Year, the Regional Transportation Advisory Committee awards up to four communities up to $10,000 worth of ARDC's planning serivces to complete transportation-related planning processes. Successful applicants are required to fund at least 20% of ARDC's project costs, while ARDC contributes the remaining amount. Past awardees have completed trail plans, road network plans, and road realignment assessements.
